About Elder Ty Smith

Elder Ty Smith is from Nashville, Tennessee in the USA. He is a skilled trumpet player and enjoys music and racquet sports. He is interested in becoming a commercial airline pilot when he returns from Brazil. Elder Smith is excited to live among and serve the good people of Maceió, Brazil. He is very much looking forward to making new friends and experiencing the culture, food, and history of the area.

Beliefs

The most important thing in my life is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the Gospel, we can strengthen our families and, one day, return to live with our Father in Heaven as a family unit. I'm grateful we can repent and change and improve each day.

Grattitude

I'm truly grateful to have the Gospel in my life. I'm humbled by the many things I've learned over the years and the way the Gospel helps me look for and see the best in others. I'm grateful for my family and for all of my friends. I'm looking forward to making many more friends during my experience here in Brazil.
